The door is the natural trigger for automations: lights on when the bell rings, gate open via a scene, camera image in the home control system. ESENTA SIAS integrates seamlessly, through open interfaces such as MQTT, HTTP API and RTSP, locally and without a forced cloud.
All of the system's relays can be switched via HTTP API or MQTT; the settings are right on the smart home page of the SIAS web interface. Door openers, gates, lighting or alarm systems react to events at the door, and your home control system can trigger the relays in return.
For common systems there are tested guides in our support section: Loxone Miniserver, Gira G1, PeakNX and Basalte. Actuators are covered too: the Nuki Smart Lock and Shelly switching actuators work directly with SIAS.
And the video image is not confined to the app: via RTSP the camera stream flows into visualisations, recorders and surveillance systems. All of this works locally on your network; more on the page door intercom without cloud.
Every relay can be switched via MQTT or HTTP, and events at the door are available to your home control system. The interfaces are vendor-neutral and work locally.
Loxone Miniserver, Gira G1, PeakNX and Basalte as visualisations, Nuki Smart Lock and Shelly as actuators: proven guides for these combinations are ready in our support section.
The outdoor station's camera stream can be integrated into visualisations, NVRs and building management systems. The door image appears where you are already looking.
Via MQTT and the HTTP API, SIAS works with any home control system that speaks these standards. For Loxone Miniserver, Gira G1, PeakNX and Basalte there are additionally tested step-by-step guides in our support section.
Yes. The Nuki Smart Lock can be controlled directly from SIAS, and via Shelly switching actuators you reach further locks, gates and drives. The guides are in our support section.
Yes. Events at the door are available through the interfaces, so your home control system can react to them, for example with lighting, an announcement or a camera recording. In return, you switch the system's relays via MQTT or HTTP.
No. MQTT, HTTP API and RTSP work locally on your network. The ESENTA Cloud is only needed for app access while away and remains optional.
