Many smart doorbells only work with a vendor cloud and a subscription. ESENTA SIAS takes the other path: if you wish, the system runs entirely locally on your network. The cloud function is optional, free of charge and can be switched off completely. There are no monthly fees.
SIAS speaks open SIP: door calls run over your own infrastructure: a FRITZ!Box, a local PBX or your own SIP server. Visitors reach you on DECT, landline and SIP phones, entirely without an internet connection.
The video side stays under your control too: the camera stream can be integrated into existing surveillance and building management systems via RTSP, and relays and events can be controlled through vendor-neutral interfaces such as MQTT. More in the technical details.
If you want to use the cloud, it comes free of charge: servers in Germany, app access on the go, event history. And if you no longer want it, switch it off. Stored data can be deleted on request at any time.
In local operation, picture and sound never leave your network. Decide for yourself whether and where recordings are stored: on your own systems via RTSP, or not at all.
No function depends on a cloud service that might one day be shut down or become a paid add-on. The system's core functions run on your premises, today and in ten years.
No subscription fees and no paid storage plans: the standard functions of your system are free and will stay free, as is the optional ESENTA Cloud with servers in Germany.
No, the ESENTA app requires the (free) cloud function. Without the cloud you use SIP phones for door calls instead: FRITZ!Fon, DECT phones, SIP softphones or an indoor station. The two can also be combined.
No. If you activate the cloud function it is free of charge; there are no subscription fees and no paid add-on packages.
On servers of ESENTA GmbH in Germany. The cloud function can be fully deactivated at any time, and you can have stored data removed via our deletion form.
Yes. The outdoor station's video stream can be integrated into your own recorder, NVR or surveillance systems via RTSP; the recording then lives entirely on your own systems.
