ESENTA SIAS is a standards-compliant SIP video endpoint: it registers with your phone system like any other extension, on premises or in the cloud. Door calls with H.264 video reach SIP phones, softphones and DECT devices; the door opens via a DTMF keypad code.
SIAS speaks open SIP instead of a proprietary protocol. Any SIP server you already run will do: a FRITZ!Box or a local PBX just as well as a cloud PBX. Several SIP servers can be configured in parallel, and the ESENTA app can ring alongside.
Tested step-by-step guides are available in our support section, among others for Telekom Cloud PBX, STARFACE, NFON, innovaphone, Unify and AGFEO, as well as for phones by Yealink, Gigaset and Fanvil.
For secure connections, the registration can be switched to TLS. Even without a classic SIP server, there are integration options: Microsoft Teams environments connect via the tested Teams integration, and the system also runs entirely serverless in local operation.
Whether a FRITZ!Box at home, STARFACE at the office or Telekom Cloud PBX: SIAS is set up as a normal extension. No gateway, no special hardware, no per-device license.
Door calls carry H.264 video to phones and softphones with a display. On request, the SIP registration runs TLS-encrypted, and the door opens via a DTMF code.
If the phone system changes, the door intercom stays: SIAS simply registers with the new server. No vendor lock-in, no discontinued cloud services.

Yes. SIAS transmits H.264 video within the SIP call; on SIP phones with a display, for example by Yealink, Gigaset or Fanvil, you see the visitor the moment the bell rings.
During the call you enter a keypad code (DTMF) stored in SIAS. This works on any SIP or DECT phone, regardless of manufacturer.
Yes. In the SIAS web interface several SIP servers can be configured in parallel, for example the local PBX and a cloud service. The ESENTA app can additionally ring alongside.
